- Open rrb.indianrailways.gov.in and go to the page of the RRB chosen in the application.

RRB NTPC Result CBT 1 Cutoff
The CBT 1 cut-off is released with the result, as RRB-wise, category-wise, and post-wise marks. These marks are normalised out of 100. They change with each RRB, post, and category, so no single national figure exists.
These are examples, not full lists. Category numbers follow the earlier notices and do not match the 2026 list. The cut-off for CEN 06/2026 and CEN 07/2026 will come only with their CBT 1 result.
RRB NTPC Result 2026 FAQs
When will the RRB NTPC results be out?
No date is fixed because no CBT has been held under CEN 06/2026 or CEN 07/2026. Last cycle, the CBT 1 result came 76 days after the Graduate exam ended and 65 days after the UG exam.
Is the NTPC CBT 2 result out?
The Graduate CBT 2 result (CEN 06/2025) came out on 27 August 2026, 48 days after the exam. The UG CBT 2 result (CEN 07/2025, exam on 17 September) is not out yet. The 2026 notices have no CBT 2 yet.
Is the RRB NTPC 2026 exam date out?
No. RRB has not announced CBT dates for CEN 06/2026 or CEN 07/2026. The Graduate form closes on 6 November and the UG form on 13 November. Some pages cite late December for Graduate CBT 1, but that is unconfirmed.
What is the RRB NTPC salary?
Graduate posts start at INR 35,400 (Level 6, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor) and INR 29,200 (Level 5, the other three posts). UG posts start at INR 19,900 to INR 21,700 (Levels 2 and 3). Allowances are paid on top.
Is CBT-1 qualifying in RRB NTPC?
CBT 1 is a screening test, not the final merit round. Minimum marks apply: 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC-NCL and SC, and 25% for ST. CBT 2 marks decide the final merit.
What is a good score in RRB NTPC?
A good score is one above the cut-off for the chosen RRB, post, and category. Last cycle, UR CBT 1 cut-offs in the examples above ran from 69.51 to 89.56 out of 100. A wider margin over the last cut-off is safer.
