SNAP Exam Pattern 2026
| Section | Questions | Marks |
| General English | 10 | 10 |
| Analytical & Logical Reasoning | 20 | 20 |
| Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency | 20 | 20 |
| Ethics, Morality and Values (new) | 10 | 10 |
| Total | 60 | 60 |

The new Ethics, Morality and Values section replaced five questions each from General English and Reasoning. Each question has four options, and a wrong answer costs 0.25 marks. Section-wise details are on the SNAP exam pattern page, and what changed this year is covered in SNAP 2026 exam pattern changed.
SNAP Syllabus 2026
SIU’s official test structure gives the four section names and question counts, but not a chapter-wise syllabus. Topic lists published by coaching institutes are useful for preparation, but they are not official. Topic-wise guidance: SNAP syllabus.
How to Prepare for SNAP 2026
With 60 questions in 60 minutes, speed and question selection matter as much as accuracy.
- Take full-length mocks under time limits. Track how many questions you reach and your accuracy on each section.
- Use the official mocks for the new section. Ethics, Morality and Values has no previous-year papers, so the official mocks are the closest preview.
- Use previous papers for the other sections. Older papers have more English and Reasoning questions, but the question styles still help; see SNAP question papers.
- Plan your attempts. With up to three tests and the best score counted, an early attempt can serve as a real-exam rehearsal, though each attempt costs ₹2,550.
More strategy: SNAP preparation and SNAP books.
SNAP Admit Card 2026
Each test has its own admit card: 7, 11 and 18 December for SNAP 01, 02 and 03. Candidates must print it, paste a recent colour passport-size photograph as instructed, and carry an original photo ID (passport, driving licence, voter ID, PAN, Aadhaar or college ID). Soft copies of ID are not accepted. Details: SNAP admit card.
SNAP Exam Centres 2026
SNAP 2026 is held in 79 cities. Candidates choose a test city and date during registration, subject to availability; neither can be changed after payment. Full list: SNAP exam centres.
SNAP Result and Selection Process 2026
The SNAP 2026 result will be announced on 12 January 2027, and scorecards will remain available on snaptest.org until 12 February 2027. The score is valid only for 2027–28 admissions to the selected SIU programmes. Each programme then shortlists candidates on the overall SNAP percentile for its Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI). There is no single centralised counselling; candidates shortlisted by more than one programme attend each programme’s GE-PI separately.
SNAP scores are used by participating institutes to shortlist candidates for their respective MBA programmes. The shortlisting criteria and cutoffs may vary by institute and programme.
Being shortlisted does not guarantee admission. Candidates must complete the required selection rounds for the programme concerned. Final merit is calculated using the applicable selection criteria and weightage published by the institute.
| Final merit component | Weightage |
| SNAP score (scaled to 50) | 50 |
| Group Exercise | 10 |
| Personal Interaction | 40 |
| Total | 100 |
Updates: SNAP result and SNAP GE-PI and counselling.
SNAP Cutoff 2026
SIU does not publish one cutoff. Each programme sets its own shortlisting percentile, and institutes publish category-wise merit and wait lists. Published estimates from education portals place SIBM Pune at around the 96th to 99th percentile and SCMHRD Pune at around the 94th to 98th; these are not official figures. Institute-wise estimates and previous trends are on the SNAP cutoff page, and you can check your options with the SNAP college predictor.
SNAP Answer Key 2026
SIU’s published SNAP 2026 schedule does not include an official answer key. After each test, memory-based questions and solutions help estimate scores; see SNAP answer key and SNAP exam analysis.
