The Agniveer final cut off 2026 is an important update for candidates awaiting Indian Army recruitment results. For Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (SKT), an indicative target is approximately 140–155 marks out of 200. These ranges are estimates and should not be confused with official cut-off marks.
The actual selection outcome depends on the applicable recruitment criteria, vacancies and candidate performance. The latest recruitment updates and result lists are available on the official Indian Army website.

Is There an Official Agniveer Cut Off for 2026?
No. Para 22 of the official notification says that candidates are shortlisted in proportion to the vacancies available by applying a cutoff in the written exam result, and that the roll numbers of candidates in merit are published on the Join Indian Army website. The cutoff is applied internally; the marks are not released.
The CEE 2026 result follows exactly this format. Each PDF is titled “Result of Shortlisted Candidates Phase-I” and lists only roll numbers, for one ARO and one category:
So there is no single national cutoff, no trade-wise cutoff and no category-wise (General, OBC, SC, ST) cutoff in any official document. Each ARO’s shortlist depends on that ARO’s vacancies for each category, so the effective cutoff varies from one ARO to another.
How the Agniveer CEE Shortlist Is Prepared
The notification sets out the process in four steps:
| Step | What happens (as per the notification) |
| 1. Online CEE | Candidates answer 50 questions in one hour or 100 questions in two hours, depending on the category applied for |
| 2.Normalisation | Marks are normalised to account for differences in difficulty across exam sessions (Para 21.10) |
| 3. Shortlisting | Candidates are shortlisted in proportion to the vacancies available, by applying a cutoff to the written exam result (Para 22) |
| 4. Publication | Roll numbers of shortlisted candidates are published on joinindianarmy.nic.in, ARO-wise and category-wise |
Clerk/Store Keeper Technical candidates must also qualify the typing test held during the CEE (30 words per minute in English is desirable) to be called for Phase II.
Agniveer Final Merit List: What Decides Final Selection
Clearing the CEE shortlist only gets a candidate to Phase II, the recruitment rally. The notification lists the marks and tests that follow.

The maximum bonus is 25 marks for all categories except Technical, where it is 50 marks for ITI or Diploma holders. Bonus certificates are accepted only at the rally site, not afterwards.
Agniveer Final Result Format
After the rally, medical examination and document checks, the Army publishes the final result ARO-wise on joinindianarmy.nic.in. Like the CEE shortlist, it lists only roll numbers, as this final list from the previous cycle shows:
So there is no published “final cutoff” either. Searches for an “Agniveer GD final cut off 2026” cannot be answered with official marks.

Indian Army Agniveer Previous Year Trade-wise Qualifying Marks
Qualifying marks and final cut-off marks are different. Qualifying marks refer to the minimum requirements specified under the applicable recruitment rules, whereas the final selection threshold may depend on merit, vacancies and other criteria.
The following figures are indicative values from commonly circulated estimates. They have not been independently verified as official previous-year cut-offs.
Note: These figures are not confirmed official cut-offs. Candidates should verify the minimum qualifying requirements for their trade against the applicable Indian Army recruitment notification.
Factors Affecting Indian Army Agniveer Cut Off Marks 2026
The Indian Army Agniveer cut off 2026 may differ across trades and recruiting offices. The main factors that can influence selection outcomes include:
- Number of vacancies: The number of available posts in relation to eligible candidates can affect the level of competition.
- Candidate performance: Marks obtained by candidates and the applicable merit criteria influence the selection outcome.
- Trade-specific requirements: GD, Technical, Clerk/SKT and Tradesman recruitment may have different eligibility and assessment requirements.
- ARO-wise competition: The number of applicants and available vacancies may differ across Army Recruiting Offices.
- Recruitment rules: The official notification determines the applicable qualifying requirements, assessment process and selection criteria.
- Completion of selection stages: Candidates must meet the applicable standards and complete the required stages. Written-exam performance alone does not guarantee final selection.
These factors explain why unofficial estimates should be treated as indicative rather than as a guarantee of selection.
