1. Fresh candidate registration: Open jeecup.admissions.nic.in, click “Fresh Candidate Registration” and accept the instructions.

3. Review and application number: Verify the details on the review page. The portal generates an application number and sends it with the password by email and SMS.
4. Application form: Log in with the application number and password. Fill in the academic details, domicile, category, sub-category and two exam centre choices.
5. Upload and pay: Upload the photograph and signature, then pay the application fee online or through e-challan.

Why Does the Last Date of the JEECUP Deadline Keep Moving?

JEECUP application form last date moved in both 2025 and 2026. Both of the cycles were closed on May 20. In 2025, the April 30 deadline moved to May 10 and then to May 20. In 2026, the same April 30 deadline moved through May 10, May 11 and May 17 before closing on May 20.

JEECUP Registration Form (Common Problems Faced)

• Payment failed but money was deducted: This may happen due to a bank or payment gateway timeout. Students are advised to note the transaction ID, check whether the amount is reversed. They must confirm the application status after logging in before making another payment.
• Online payment will not go through: Card limits, OTP failures or net banking downtime may cause payment issues. Candidates should try another available payment method, such as net banking, card or UPI, or generate an e-challan and pay at an SBI or ICICI branch.
• Photograph upload error: The photograph may not meet the prescribed format or size requirements. Resize it to JPEG format, between 4 KB and 200 KB, with dimensions of 3.5 × 4.5 cm.
• Signature upload error: The signature may exceed the prescribed file size or dimensions. Candidates can scan a clear signature and save it as a JPEG file between 1 KB and 30 KB, measuring 3.5 × 1.5 cm.
• Confirmation page is not available: The final submission or payment may be incomplete. Students should log in to the application portal, complete the pending submission steps and download the confirmation page.
• Incorrect details after submission: Errors in the name, date of birth, category or exam centre may need correction through the application correction window in May 2027.
• Forgot password or application number: Use the password recovery or “Get Application Number” option available on the application portal to retrieve your credentials.

JEECUP Application Form 2027 (Reset Password)

Candidates should remember the application number and password. These are needed for all future activities, like checking application status, downloading the admit card, checking the result, etc. However, if somehow applicants forget or lose the security password, they must reset it by following some simple steps highlighted below:
