FLAME University Admission 2027

FLAME University admission 2027 is based on a holistic process with an entrance score, essay and online personal interview. There is no direct admission, and seats go to candidates on overall merit. For undergraduate courses, students can apply with the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT), SAT or ACT scores. B.Des applicants can also use UCEED, NIFT or NID scores, and FDAT is optional for them.

FLAME does not fix a guaranteed cutoff for these design exams. A high score only improves the chance of selection. For the MBA and MBA (Communications Management), FLAME University accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT and MH-CET scores. Shortlisted candidates give an essay and a personal interview. M.Sc. (Economics) and PGPEI applicants take FEAT and an essay, followed by a half-hour online interview.

FLAME University runs admissions in cycles. For 2026, the last date to apply for UG was June 21, 2026, and the last PG cycle closed on June 14, 2026. FLAME University has not yet announced the 2027 dates. Based on last year's pattern, an Early Decision cycle can open around November or December 2026. The final cycle may close around June 2027.

FLAME University Pune Admission Process 2027

The FLAME University Pune admission process has five main steps. These are registration, application submission, FEAT or score submission with essay, personal interview and the offer letter. Every step is online, so applicants can complete it from home.

  1. Register and fill the application. Create an account on apply.flame.edu.in and choose your programme. Fill in your academic details, extracurriculars and contact information. Pay the application fee.
  2. Upload documents. Submit mark sheets, an ID proof and entrance scores such as SAT, ACT, CAT, XAT or GMAT. Final-year students can apply provisionally. Their admission stays provisional until they submit the final certificates.
  3. Take FEAT and write the essay. Applicants without SAT or ACT scores take FEAT. It is a 120-minute MCQ test on verbal ability, reasoning, quantitative ability and general knowledge. SAT or ACT applicants write only the essay. You get two separate invites, one for FEAT and essay and one for the interview.
  4. Attend the online personal interview. The interview lasts about 30 minutes. The panel checks communication, interests, academic record and fit with FLAME's liberal education approach.
  5. Receive the result and confirm your seat. FLAME University releases results a few weeks after the interview. The offer letter also states any merit scholarship. Accept the offer by paying the fee and the refundable caution money of INR 75,000.
